The vehicle can transport a wide range of hospital supplies with a payload from 10 kg (UniMedCar10) to 15 kg (UniMedCar15). An illuminated display shows the individual trolley ID and the corresponding working status. An infrared code scanner makes it possible to determine the location in real time, which is transmitted directly to the system. The UniCar is also equipped with an antimicrobial coating and optional UV-C disinfection.

The central visualization PC and decentralized segment controls enable real-time communication between all components and feedback on their status. The system's intelligent scheduling function can call not only vehicles that are parked in nearby storage areas, but also cars that are heading to the storage area, thus improving the efficiency of the entire operation.

The flexible design and high aesthetics allow the system to be integrated into the building. Suspended from the ceiling, the system is suitable for both new and existing buildings, freeing up valuable space. The system stations are located near the work stations in the departments to allow easy receipt of materials.

Suitable fire doors shall be installed that meet the requirements of the regionally applicable fire protection regulations. The fire protection mechanism of the fire door may communicate with or trigger the building's fire protection system.

There are several models to choose from to meet different space and efficiency requirements. With the 4P-2W switch, two machines can be switched or passed at the same time, ensuring maximum system operation efficiency. The switch can operate before the machine arrives to further improve operation efficiency.

The system has a 10.1-inch color touchscreen with resolutions up to 1280×800 dpi.
